Our Islamic Center provides following services:
Educational Service
Our School is a well-established Islamic school for education and learning and is attended by over 200 students on a daily basis. The Madrassa students who come from a diverse range of local cultures are able to learn a broad mix of subjects including Arabic and Tajweed. The syllabus, teaching methods, and learning objectives are currently being reviewed to ensure that they are focused on key priority areas. The students, teachers, and administration staff currently require the assistance of volunteers who can assist with the operations of the Madrassa in a number of ways.
Social Service
The mission of the Social Services Committee is to develop, implement and manage human services programs and supports needed to improve the quality of life of individuals and families. The committee seeks to serve humanity without regard to race, gender, or religion.
Summer School
Summer Camp is a part-time school in the Summer for ages 5-15. Program Topics Include (but are not limited to): Heroes of Islam- Inspirational Stories from Seerah, Prophets, Companions of the Prophet Mohammad (SAW), and Contemporary Muslims - Tafseer of Select Surahs from Juz Amma - Learning Special Duas for Everyday Life - Perfecting Your Prayer- Reviewing Wudu & Prayer - Project-Based Arts & Crafts - Organized Recreational Activities
